The twelfth season of the popular racing enthusiast favorite BBC show, Top Gear ran from November 2 of 2008 until December 28, 2008 and contained eight episodes. This season found our favorite drivers handling many different sizes and shapes of vehicles, including lorries that qualify as HGV’s; that’s heavy goods vehicles. They travel to the United States (Bonneville Salt Flats), Finland, Italy, and end up driving the length of Vietnam. Some of the celebrity of note includes Sir Tom Jones, Mark Wahlberg, Harry Enfield, and London’s Mayor, Boris Johnson. Along the way they test out a hydrogen powered vehicle and a super fast Tesla powered by batteries.
